There’s hope for the next generation, at least in the lagoon.

It’s fascinating how the fish school system is similar to ours.

Maybe you’ll get a Participation Trophy. Then your self-esteem will not suffer and stuff.

What? No showing what the kid’s project did when it was put on?

Their project was hustled away by government agents to be studied by “top – men!”

And bought up by Arabs!

Moral of this story, study hard take the win.

Wonder what the dads project got?

Come on, Sherman, he’s your son. Be grateful that he won the science fair.

I don’t know what it is about this strip. I read it every day but the storyline doesn’t stick with me like other strips do. I had to go back and read the past weeks strips to find out about the science fair and how the fathers were interfering.

I cant believe that I about to say this but Clayton’s sentence structure is terrible.

The lesson today is, kids can be responsible with the right motivation.

Give the kids all the credit and all the praise. We can accomplish a lot if we don’t care who gets the credit.

Parents helping is bad enough. But I remember my high school biology teacher helping with the project supposedly by his pet student… I came in second. (I do think that project was better than mine, just not by a student.)

i “earned” much better grades thanks to dear ol’ mom… ☺
