Caddying isn’t made out for Marcie.

There was an earlier strip in which Linus claimed he couldn’t find a baseball in the tall grass.. and then he found it.

The irony of Patty calling Marcie ‘weird’. This coming from a girl who didn’t know Snoopy was a dog, and who spent several weeks at Ace Obedience School, not knowing it was a school for dogs. I think Patty has Marcie beat by far in the ‘weird’ category.

Yep, Patty and Marcie are excellent caddies. Both are outstanding in their field.

Too bad they’re not allowed to move the ball.

That’s a good way to get your hand broken by a golf club.

This finding a ball in the tall grass situation has been done in about 2 Peanuts comic strips back in the 1950’s.

That lawn needs a good mowing.

That is some deep rough.

Not how many strokes, but how many balls did you lose.

Look out for ticks.

Maybe its the spring making the grass grow. Not just grow- just REALLY growing

The golfer is a “maam”, but Peppermint Patty is a “sir”.

She just needs better glasses

I dunno… sounds a lot like my golfing experiences.

That’s why I drop a towel or something next to the ball when I find it.

This is coming from a kid who graduated from obedience school.

You’re doing fine, Marcie. Every new caddie loses the occasional Titleist 3. The trick is NOT to lose her bag of clubs in all that rough!
