You could say that joke is under par.

So now she’s calling her both “sir” and “ma’am”?

This is why I wish that Marcie’s role in Peanuts had been expanded. She should have been more than just Peppermint Patty’s satellite, who never appears without her. For what it’s worth, I consider Marcie to be Schulz’s best character.

Watch out for the gimlas.

If they find a Baby Ruth bar in the pool like in the movie Caddyshack and they sniff it they better hope it is really a Baby Ruth bar!

Marcie needs to go to comedy school.

When Marcie’s joke was new, she wasn’t wanting a swim. But now, she might be looking for a good cool off. Though I’ve never heard of anyone seeking a ball in a water hazard.

Good thing Marcie could have even thrown in singing a Beatles song “We all live in a Yellow Submarine…”
