Aging is not optional. The MIL said, considering the option, she’d cheerfully age. Howsomever, “growing old” is within our abilities to change. A friend told me that we don’t stop laughing b/c we grow old. We grow old BECAUSE we stop laughing.
When I hear “face lifts” I always think of Joan Rivers. Unfortunately they always found a different face after the work done and not for the better! (may she rest in peace)

My family gets gray hair late in life. My mom at 83 only had a sprinkling of gray hair. ( but on the other hand, if we ever meet that wrinkle fairy…)
