Oh, I know all about puddles! It seems like it’s been raining every day for the past 2 or 3 weeks. Just rain, rain, rain, rain and puddles galore. All delaying the road construction/water main replacement going on in front of my house. And on the days they work, they are out there by 6:30 in the morning with all the beeping (back up signal on construction vehicles) and banging and rumbling of trucks and construction vehicles, waking me up. And when I get back to sleep, I still hear the construction noises in my dreams. Wait- this comment was supposed to be about puddles, not road construction. Well, yeah, we’ve had plenty of puddles from the torn up roads and all the holes they’re digging laying down new water mains and sewer lines, etc. I can’t believe that the weather forecast calls now for 3 straight days of NO RAIN!!! Wednesday through Friday, no rain. Rain returns for the weekend.
NATIONAL FLIP FLOP DAY. I hate flip flops! I can’t stand that thing that goes between the toes – what do they call that thing? I remember when flip flops were called thongs. But thong has a whole new meaning now.
NATIONAL 529 DAY. May 29th is National 529 Day – reminding families and friends that it has never been easier to help save for a child’s future. By contributing to a 529 savings plan, you help prepare a child for whatever path they choose. Earnings grow tax-free on the federal level, and in most states, if savings are withdrawn to pay for qualified tuition and other expenses
From yesterday’s comments, king about Walmart remodeling their stores, zippykatz said, “I was told that Corporate wanted all the stores in the chain to be consistent. As I told our manager: 90% of your customers use just this one store because it’s the one nearest them. We don’t care about other stores’ layouts since we seldom shop there! Duh…”
That is true. Corporate wants the stores to be consistent in their layouts. They redid our store a couple years ago, and while I finally got used to where things are, I still hate how they redid it. Sure, some stuff was improved, like moving peanut butter and jelly to the same aisle as the bread, but so much other stuff is totally screwed up. And a lot of the aisles are too narrow. I hate the layout of the housewares and domestics departments (like bedding, curtains, towels, dishes, pots & pans and furniture too). It made much more sense the way we had it before. But making sense does not seem to be Walmart policy.
Don’t worry, Oliver, no one would ever accuse you of leaving puddles on the floor. You’re too nice a kitty to do such a thing. On another note, saw five robins, a junco, a swallow, and a chickadee while out walking today.

Let me introduce you to this …its called a “sandbox”! You’re going to have to ask Chesney how to use it though.

But “someone” may be leaving puddles inside because who wants to go outdoors in THIS deluge ?

Oliver, we would NEVER think you were leaving puddles! Ten Cats newsletter is blank today, hoping it will get reloaded.

With 10 cats in the place (not to mention the warehouse surely leaks!), who could possibly point a finger at anyone not caught in flagrante delicto?

Nobody would think such a thing of you, sweet Oliver.

Can someone tell me how many robots read Go Comics, and why and how? Now I have to pick out bicycles and I haven’t had my cataract surgery yet.
