Artistic talent does not always come paired with kindness and male artists often stifle the talents of female artists. Camille Claudel and Dora Marr come to mind.

Wonderfully powerful. A justified conceptual devastation without actual physical destruction. Well Done!

Abuser claims to the victim. This is sadly the truth and I hope today’s strip will empower anyone who is a true victim. There is help and there is hope! I also want to acknowledge all of the kind and loving men out there. I am blessed to have many good ones in my life.

So that’s where the expression “chiseler” came from. She sure hammered her point home.

should that not be, “destroyed the sculpture symbolically”? or am I missing a deeper level of meaning?

I think she destroyed the SCULPTURE symbolically in panel 5.

“Where she destroyed the painting symbolically”. Wouldn’t she be destroying the sculpture? — the guy was a sculptor making a sculture; she was the painter.
