“Gentlemen, I have come this morning to the inexcusable conclusion that we have fought on the wrong side. This entire war we should have fought with the fascists against the communists and not the other way around.

I fear that perhaps in fifty years America will pay a dear price and become a land of corruption and degenerate morals."

    General George S. Patton

Remember when lying oath breaking traitor Trump called our dead soldiers suckers and didn’t want to get his dyed blonde hair wet to honor our dead soldiers?

A certain former President will probably say something like “D-day. Wow.”

trump’s tribute speech included the suckers and losers who got shot down, and didn’t profit.

And then he gave thanks that george washington showed up and took over the airports with his continental army, and the magat crowd he was speaking to gave thunderous brainwashed applause.

I watched part of the ceremony this morning. Brave young men now elderly. I can’t imagine the fear they felt and how brave they were to overcome that fear. I honor them for their courage.

Trump refers to today as “Suckers and Losers Day.” Despite this, I’m proud of the ultimate sacrifice my uncle made at the Battle of the Bulge.

They saved the world. We can protect that world on Election Day. Vote blue all down the ballot to honour their sacrifice.

‘He calls fallen heroes suckers’: Trump’s D-Day tribute does not go according to plan

“The men of D-Day will live forever in history as among the bravest, noblest, and greatest Americans ever to walk the earth,” Trump declared on Truth Social. “They shed their blood, and thousands gave their lives, in defense of American Freedom. They are in our hearts today and for all time.”

Trump’s homage to the WWII soldiers who invaded Normandy as part of the largest amphibious invasion in military history drew an almost immediate comparison to the sea voyage currently being taken by the inflatable “Trump prison chicken” that anti-Trump activists have put on display during his visit to San Francisco this week for a fundraiser.

“President Biden & Jill are visiting Normandy on this anniversary of D-Day,” wrote X user BlueDream. “Meanwhile Convicted felon Trump is in San Francisco viewing a blowup chicken as it circles Alcatraz. Trump couldn’t go to Normandy because felons can’t travel out of the country.”

Trump last week was convicted of falsifying business records to conceal hush money paid during of the 2016 presidential campaign, when he feared adult film Star Stormy Daniels would torpedo him with stories of their extramarital affair. He faces sentencing on July 11.

This detail was not the only tidbit from Trump’s past that Americans remembered on D-Day.

New School professor and historian Claire Potter reminded X users that Trump’s father Fred was arrested after a Ku Klux Klan rally in Queens in 1927, the subject unsubstantiated rumors that he was a member of the pro-Nazi group called the German-American Bund, and that he was sued over his refusal to let people of color live in his Queen developments.

“As you celebrate D-Day today, one of the most astonishing sacrifices ever made for freedom, remember this: Donald Trump’s father,” Potter wrote.

Remember when traitor Trump went to France and called our fallen soldiers Suckers?

What an embarrassing and humiliating moment for the US today when,in the middle of the Dday ceremony in France, the “leader of the free world” decided it was time for one of Bidens, now familiar, squats with contented smile. Was he looking for an invisible chair to sit in? Hmm Luckily, the concerned Dr. Jill who was standing with him on the stage quickly led him off to find the nearest john . If you haven’t heard this breaking story, you are purposely kept in the dark.

Dang it, my screen is suddenly all blurry.

My grandfather died early in the war when my father was an infant. I don’t blame my grandmother for being too devastated about his death to talk about her husband, but I really wish I knew more about him, and his life.

Let us not forget that bone spurs started his 2016 campaign with an attack on Khizr and Ghazala Khan, a Gold Star family. I figured at the time such an attack was based on his anti Muslim BS. But he continued disparaging the sacrifice made by veterans and their families with his losers and suckers comments. The commander in chief of the armed forces is given the authority to send troops into a war zone. It’s enraging to think that an individual with that power has no regard or respect for the suffering and sacrifice those troops and their families will have to endure.

My uncle was at Normandy and ended up with such severe PTSD (not understood at that time) that his wife became more like a carer-giver than a spouse, he seldom spoke and they never had children.
