TR4s were worse. I had several and made good money tuning and balancing the SU carbs.
I had a 1978 triumph spitfire and had nothing but problems with the electrical system — great car except for that.

Look, I’ll stick up for Bucky a little bit. He IS an idea man…er cat. In fact, I think Rob steals some of his ideas for his advertising job. But his problem is execution…or in many cases, electrocution.
Those review quotes which Rob cites could be seen as praise and/or affirmation in some such circles.
Surely even in 2012, that was an obscure reference. According to Wikipedia, the TR7 hasn’t been manufactured since 1981.
