When I was in school, we didn’t get lockers until we started Jr High. We kept all our books in our assigned desks and stayed in the same classroom the entire school day.
If they get rid of lockers where it snows – where do the kids keep their jackets, boots, hats, gloves or mittens? Not to mention even in warmer climes you’d at least need some kind of jacket, raincoat, or sweater.

My oldest granddaughter, now about 23, began Kindergarten toting a back pack almost as big as she was. What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.

That is kind of sad for them, I had lockers from 4th grade all the way until the end.

It’s ridiculous getting rid of lockers! Need to get rid of school boards and there agendas!

And all the spankings I got as a kid were “for my own good”

This is the answer to keep guns out of lockers. No need to change any gun laws. Things are working out so well the way they are now. Very sad.☹️

Many children are already developing incipient back injuries from lugging books and or laptops around.
