That’s what happened to a stump in my great-grandmother’s backyard.

Of course this is comic wizardry, but … if a real tree stump still had life in it, it could possibly likely sprout anew along the edge of the stump (instead of from the middle of it) – from the cambium layer on the inside of the bark.

We are all hoping that the iconic “Sycamore Gap tree” in NE UK (featured in the Robin Hood film) that was chopped down by idiots, will re-sprout from the stump. We need the help of Wiz!

I wish that could happen to the stump of the Sycamore Gap tree next to Hadrian’s Wall, the one those 2 idiots cut down in Northumberland, England. Never did learn why they did that, other than it was an act of vandalism.

We moved into a house that had a lot of stumps – with holes drilled into them. When a little girl visitor asked why there were holes, her father told her it was to keep them from sprouting. Apparently, it works

It seems that this comic has lost a almost all of its “funniness” over the past few weeks. It has turned into a means of promoting some form of “green agenda”, or delves off into the dark side of “life in Id”.
