Wilberforce is of the age where he could do his own laundry. but he probably wouldn’t separate the colors. He is our hero’s son after all.

Hey Guys! Wash this!

My late wife would check me out doing the laundry, ironing, cooking and so forth until she had her second stroke and she was happy that I knew what I was doing. After her third stroke, she knew paid any attention her last 3 months. 15 months and I am still in a fog living alone without her.

neither is bringing in your dirty dishes… :p

You’re old enough to help around the house, Wilberforce.

Let him live in his own filthy clothes for a while. He may get the message.

If it’s clean it’s not laundry

Well, he did make a point….attaboy!

His future wife give him the same speech.

This could be a precursor to what he’s going to be as an adult. He will split chores 50-50 with his wife. He will contribute to the mess and she will clean. She will cook and he will eat. She will serve him papers and he will pay alimony.

He did his half.

It’s a dirty job but someone has to do it.

OR he could just become a nudist. :)

I’m sensing a busy summer in Wilberforce’s future.

I remember issues with my child and laundry. I had so little time available and after I would leave her clean and folded laundry in a basket in her room for her and then ask, at the end of the week, for her to give me her laundry, I would notice that she had simply worn what she wanted and put that on the top of the still clean clothes on the bottom. She was taught to do it herself after enough weeks of that and multiple warnings of what was to come. I honestly don’t mind laundry, but that was just too lazy. She was in high school.
