I shred anything with my name on it before it goes into the trash, unfortunately I couldn’t prevent AT&T from allowing my information to wind up on the dark web.
This is (part of) why scan, then shred all my docs. And everything I need a physical copy for is in a shoebox in my closet. Paperless billing all the way.
Of course my credit union still mails me a notice saying my monthly bill has been posted. :/
