More patience than I would’ve had, Fred. I would have taken some “corrective” measures. He’s a bit big to be treating you like that anyway.

We had a basset that absolutely loved it when little kids piled on top of her … she loved kids and loved to wrestle. Come to think of it, she loved to swim, too. I wonder whether those are breed traits.

Where does Timmy live? A few of us would like to have a chat with his parents.

The cat and dog contracts all say that kids may do what they like—as long as they don’t hurt you too much!

Little Timmy wouldn’t be able to sit down for a while, had he been in MY house!

That sort of behavior is why dog bites happen.

Is this before the Tucker Twins? If I recall, in the beginning, the Tucker Twins were a bit rough on Fred. But they mellowed nicely over time, like many of the characters here.

I totally feel you on that, Fred! Especially dealing with young, energetic boys!

Oh, Fred. Couldn’t you get up and walk over to Mrs. Dear so she could protect you?

I hate it when animals are at the mercy of kids who are not taught to respect them. They are not toys. As my husband once told a kid, referring to one of our cats, “He is a person who lives here.”

I was asked if our previous, large dog liked children. I said, “Yes, especially with cheese sauce.”

2 YouTube Shorts creators (I’m sure they’re on TT and IG too) had babies this year, and they’ve already taught their babies to properly pet their cats and dog. If a baby can be taught it, there’s absolutely no excuse for a kid to not know better.
