Why do ladies go for dirtbags? I’ve seen it so many times.

She’s going to succumb to that louse again? Come on, Joan! You’re too smart for this! Well maybe not. I don’t want to stick around and watch this train wreck!

It must take practice to be this dumb.

This arc is one of the most realistic I’ve read in a while. I’ve seen this happen in real life many times. Frustrating to watch but kudos to Jan for the excellent writing.

Methinks that Val’s parting remark should have an “effen” between the words Happy & New

The stupid is deep in this one.

As said before, over and over again, the character Joan is one big loser.

I thought Joan had grown enough that she wouldn’t respond to Leon’s negging.

I was wrong.

Maybe this will be her growth opportunity.

Love can truly make us stupid sometimes.

Just think Val, if you kicked everyone out except for your own two kids, you would be happy! You mother can afford her own place, and just kick your sister out, she needs to grow up and support herself.

It’s not easy to be the big sister. Sometimes VERY hard to keep your mouth shut.
