Can’t remember the last time I saw a phone booth. I knew of two wall hanging pay phones, both may be gone by now. One was in Stop & Shop Manchester, NJ that I actually used in 2012 after Hurricane Sandy knocked out cell service in my area. The other was in the Dow Jones building on Route 1 Monmouth Junction, NJ where I worked until 2022. I never saw that one being used. There is The Pay Phone Directory on the web that list many in NJ.

Can’t remember how long since we’ve seen actual phone booths.

I’m surprised she was able to find a phone booth.

‘cause my dog can’t wait another minute.
Makes me wonder just how many phone booths are left.

Looks like the cord is attached to the booth’s ceiling.

“…can I call you back in about five minutes?”
Only if Grimmy will let you.

Looks like Mother Goose needs an extension to reach.

Oᴘᴇʀᴀᴛᴏʀ, oh let’s forget about this call
there’s no one there I really wanted to talk to
thank you for your time
oh, you’ve been so much more than kind

Many of Mike Peters comics lately have been aimed at Seniors! They all feature objects and references that no longer exist! Living in the past?
