I was going to propose a scheme where the dating site profile photograph would have to be taken with “today’s newspaper” in the frame and showing the date.

Unfortunately, it can be harder to get a print newspaper than a date. :)

I briefly dated a woman who used a pic of herself from age 12 on a dating profile just to weed out guys who did NOT comment on her looks
