When I was in school (man, many, many moons ago) I wondered who decided which books could be deemed âclassic literature,â much like who decided random globs of paint smeared across a canvas could be called âart.â We had an orangutan in our local zoo â his name was Djakarta Jim â who liked to paint. His art won several prizes and his sought by collectors.
Numerous quirky ramblings of a hall-of-famer turned color commentator were compiled in O Holy Cow!: The Selected Verse of Phil Rizzuto. One of my favorites went something like: Itâs all over / The last six, nine, twelve Yankees went down in order / Itâs over, itâs all over

The only plot Bucky has is out back, under the oak tree.

Rob missed it. Birds on a power line is actually a metaphor. I shouldnât have to explain furtherâŠ

You just have to wonder what is floating in Buckyâs stream of consciousness.

I gotta hand it to Rob. Heâs perfectly content in his own âTwilight Zoneâ with his pets.

Or like a book about getting g revenge on a huge whale, and spening 13 chapters on knots and ropes.

Id be willing to bet that it makes more sense than âUlysses.â

Bucky writing a story? Pshh! Thatâs nothing new! Housecats have been jumping on keyboards and writing nonsense since word processing was invented.
