By the way, the previous statement doesn’t apply to those who wish to corner the thoughts of people.

Paddy was coming back from his holiday in America.

As he came through Customs, he had two sacks over his shoulder. The Customs officer asked him what he had in the sacks? Paddy replied Mobile phones.

The customs officer didn’t believe him and asked to be shown. Paddy opened each sack and sure enough both sacks contained quite a few phones.

“What are you going to do with all these mobile phones?” asked the officer.

“Oh, they are not for me. My mate Mick, who is in a band, knew I was going over to America asked me to bring him back two saxophones.”

11 yards in 13 seconds isn’t exactly fast.

I had my Flip-Phone until 2016 when it died, had to get a smart phone but still had the cheapest plan a $1 a day and .10 a minute when I use the phone, .20 for a text (but could not send pictures via text)

Some people thought I was a drug dealer using my Flip-Phone so the police couldn’t track my location

I like the new flip phones but not the $1000+ price tag.

Bao Zi can be translated as “Pork Buns”. Not an auspicious name for a cat!

The old flip phones didn’t steal all your personal data and scan your photo library for incriminating evidence against you. I’d rather have one, too, if work didn’t demand I be reachable by no fewer than four separate apps at any time during the work day

I had a flip phone when they were first introduced and loved it because it was so compact and easy to use. But then a few years later, my carrier wouldn’t allow me to keep it and I had to switch to a smart phone. I hated it! Then a few years ago, my carrier began offering flip phones again and I grabbed one. I happen to be one of those rare people who doesn’t devote most of my waking hours staring at my phone. I use it for its original intended purpose…. making phone calls and occasional text messages. Flip phones do those things perfectly with the added, wonderful perk of easily fitting inside most any pocket.

I wonder if the move back to flip phones is largely a matter of saving money.
