So—is this arc over, yet? Or will Frank Nelson show up as a circus owner claiming Mee-Yow??

Walt not only got a nice rebate on his tree cutting-hauling fee but no additional “Rubes” infected damage. You would think by now the wreckage trail left by those two would have the whole Alley hiring bonafide, licensed and bonded professionals for their home jobs. Now that Pert’s dead does Ruufy still pay rent ?

They mistook him for a dead and decaying lump of wood. Could have happened to anyone

Nice to get the bill and the check both on the same day. Especially with a little bonus left over.

    From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

“Sorry I haven’t been keeping you up to date on Gasoline Alley but there was a little mishap involving Walt and the Frank Nelson tree cutter guy, where one thing led to another but it all worked out in the end and he got $500 knocked off his bill for his trouble, which means that he’s now able to do a little light insurance fraud, aided by the Almighty Himself.”

I see the cat looking over Walt’s shoulder, does he have a lot of catnip in mind?!

Ah Walt, short-term memory is fading fast. The insurance agent made a personal trip to inform you that they would cover it. However unlikely either the trip or the coverage would be.

“S. A. W.” got off pretty light, considering what Walt could likely have sued the for.

“You let a 100+ YO customer wander around the job site? Then nearly killed him with a log grabber?”

“Well, we gave him $500. He’s old enough to think that’s a lot of money.”
