Dang! if this “nerd” actually had Apple products available, I would go to that party! What the masses may not take into consideration – nerds may be clueless, but are usually very smart and would obviously seal delicate items like an iBook, iPad or iPhone in a very strong ziplock bag. Also, Apple watches are waterproof* and would be a lot easier to bob for.
*I used to be a card-carrying nerd before I started having memory problems, but back in the day I used to go diving wearing my Apple watch so that I would know how long I could stay underwater.
