Ah yes. 555-1212. Good ol’ national directory assistance. When I worked retail, people would have to give a phone number if they wanted to return an item without a receipt. I’d always roll my eyes when they gave their number as 555-1212. There were hundreds of names in our POS database with that number.

The same as Jack Benny, 39.

Surprised to see a real phone number. Wonder if I can also call Jenny there.

And don’t bother asking her name.

Sometimes I have to think about it a second.
