Not too far from the truth, happened to me once. Jesse James had a six shooter these mechanics have a wrench.

Had a “manager” at a “plus” chain tell me the radiator was spewing all over the engine, mega bucks to replace it – showed me a little bubble trickle. One of the mechs at the bus garage, where I worked, suggested putting a couple teaspoons of ground pepper into it to plug the hole until it got worse. I replaced the radiator a couple of years later when the car developed some other issues. BTW, did not do the pepper, the trickle dried up and clogged itself.

an’ ya gotta love the “lifetime” tranny fluid… who’s lifetime: the warranty. And when that expires, so does your tranny!
