Why do I have a feeling it will be all lead-up, but we won’t actually see any of the talent show, with the possible exception of a background shot while the dialogue is either backstage or in the audience?
I remember those shows where a magician revealed how the tricks worked. The big take away I got from it was that the lovely assistants didn’t get nearly enough credit.
