Few will have known that “Ask Jeeves” referred to the fictitious, ultimate valet “Jeeves” in P.G. Wodehouse’s stories. Jeeves was able to continually save Bertie by judicious application of the “psychology of the individual”.
Wodehouse was a master of building the elements of a story piece-by-piece to a surprising conclusion. If you can find the story “The Song of Songs”, read it. Jeeves was the best.
I’d be happy if google just worked. It used to be so functional. Now, Boolean is unreliable there, the implicit “or” means 99% of the results are wrong, and the greed means that the first page is full of ads. Sad as hell.
