I’ve found that if you consider how creativity is brought about through imagination and innovation through intellectual thought. When you take into consideration the logical order of the things in nature. It would take more faith to believe in evolutional theory than have faith in God the creator. Romans 11: 36. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
The parrot’s entire argument is in error. Ziggy is not the result of evolution, certainly not 3.8 billion years of it. He lives in a universe that’s been in existence for 50+ years, and he’s the result of the same 50+ years of creative decisions by his creators. If anything, he’s devolved a little over the years; read Ziggy from the beginning, as I am currently doing, and see if you agree.

Evolution has no taste. It doesn’t design. It only selects based on DNA survival. And random mutations.

That parrot knows about as much about evolution as your typical American.

The parrot is also the end result (so far) of 3.8 billion years of natural selection.
The dog, not quite so much. His last 15,000 years or so have mostly been driven by selective breeding (i.e. unnatural selection).

Open a window. Let that bird fly away.

Random forces produce some pretty random results. Dinosaurs seemed like a good idea for 165 million years. We’ll never make that.
