Joe knows, he and Crunchy often disagree, but that’s in a way be is used to.

If you ever need a volunteer for a story about how dangerous it is to be a cop, Peterson volunteers.

Why do I get the impression his statement will end with, “like a rash”?

You grew on me – which is the same thing I say to my toe fungus. So, like that.

Of course, if Peterson goes and gets himself hurt or killed in the line of duty, we’re all gonna feel really lousy….

I actually like Peterson better than Crunchy. Crunchy is often grouchy and not very pleasant to be around. Peterson is smart, friendly and enthusiastic. I’d rather spend time with Peterson than Crunchy.

But warts do too.

Like a bad habit.
