Whenever there’s a problem beyond my control – which is most of my life! – when I go to bed, I conjure up a mental picture of a box. I mentally put all of my worries in the box, close the flaps and toss it up into the air. God’s up all night, and He can handle it better than I can. If I start to worry about stuff, I push the box up again. God can work better if I keep my grubby little mitts out of the way.
