In a very nasty tone, she said that since I’d let it expire, I’d have to start a new one and it would take at least two weeks.
I replied that I’d just renewed my auto registration last month and they had signed the registration. There was silence for about 10 seconds on the other end and then she said, “You renewed your registration? With us?” I said yes and she looked it up and indeed they had. She renewed my policy in under a half hour.
