My biggest gripe is lifting corners of a newer 100 lbs mattress to fit the sheets…

My “fitted” sheets would flip off at the corner. I finally got a spandex one.

In our house, this job is usually done by two people working crosswise.

This is not funny in that it is the TRUTH.

It’s even harder to pull the fitted sheet to the corners when there’s a chunky little dachshund refusing to get out of the middle because he thinks it’s a fun game!

I bought some sheets called QuickZip. You put the fitted sheet on once, then zip the top off when it’s time to wash. I have a bad back and shoulders, so it was a major production in making the bed. No more having to lift the mattress. They are expensive but so worth it! Best investment I ever made!

And don’t get me started on “sheet sets” for queen size. The top sheet is too narrow. I have to get open stock: queen fitted and king flat so we’re covered adequately.
