    We had a cat we called Gremlin. When she was a kitten she used to go behind the fridge and lay near the motor for warmth. Perhaps the hum reminded her of her mum also.

    During my flying time in the military the term “Gremlins” was alive and well. It, along with a few other more colorful terms, have remained in the lexicon of aviation.

    Roald Dahl gave the gremlins their name when he was a pilot for the RAF during WWII. It caught on.

    I’ll have to research what kinds of planes Matteo Pavone pulled. If, as in the sketch, it was 3 Cessna-types, that’s not too hard. However, I’ve seen a man pull a C-5, so if he was pulling 3 of those, that is, indeed, impressive!
