    As bad as the Carolina Panthers looked on Sunday, I could see them getting boat raced by 70-0 if the opponent did not pull its starters after going up by 35 or 42 at the half.

    Many years ago I went to several Columbia U. football games in NYC and the vendors outnumbered the spectators.

    Then,Columbia WAS in t he middle of a record losing streak
