Does anyone actually go under the speed limit in the passing lane? Every time I’ve seen someone tailgating there, they are behind a car doing 10-15 over and are trying to go 20 over.
“Polite” is from the root polis , “city” as in “metropolis”. It refers to how one behaves in a city. Blocking doors, escalators and sidewalks is not polite. One should be prepared for a transaction by being ready rather than talking on the phone. It’s OK if you have to drive 50, but not in the “fast lane”. These are things that should be taught in school since parents seem to have given up on such basic instruction.

Yeah. Those of us that drive truck for a living love those people that are that important that they put others at risk. Get up 10 minutes earlier.
