I’ve never seen ‘Eve’s Bayou’. Has anyone else?
‘The Bad Seed’ is reincarnated as a duckling?
I think I know why this strip is called “Frog Applause”; “Non Sequitir” was already taken.
I make a lot of allowances for Teresa, but this one goes too far, even for an online strip.
So, how’s bayou, Eve?
pschearer: Too far, how? I don’t understand your comment.
The little duck is cute.
As regular readers know… Ms D is a child abuse survivor (almost wrote surveyor, which doesn’t make any sense at all…) ie: this strip works on a number of levels one of which means we’ve got to find “Eve’s Bayou” which will answer(?) some questions..
FWIW: http://www.filmcritic.com/misc/emporium.nsf/reviews/Eves-Bayou I find I always learn something new from the comics or the comments.
pschearer… You make “allowances” for Teresa? How benevolent of you.
Teresa, I sense you have been spending your evenings watching the darker movies from your Netflix queue.
Might I suggest “Sisters”.
Pschearer, please edit your favorites appropriately. And this is one of the more brilliant demonstrations of Teresa’s surreal wit yet, IMO.
Actually, it is a bull.
I’m just glad Eve’s Bayou, I don’t want her anywhere near me…
French fries fried in duck fat are a tasty treat.
