    Monty should know full well that there is a simple, systematic solution to every maze;* I guess he couldn’t handle the dullness of it. [*just follow the left-hand or right-hand wall through every convolution and you’ll eventually be led out.]

    I know I’m in the minority, but as someone who read the book first, I really don’t like Kubrick’s film. I don’t think it’s a good adaptation, or a good film.

    If you don’t want to walk topology, let’s look at the passage of a 2D maze as a polygon with one or more gaps at the perimeter. As long as you trace the perimeter, any wankering placed in the interior is irrelevant. That is the true beauty of the solution.
