There are supervillains in reality that have no reason to be evil. They have everything they could want and they’re motivated purely by a drive for attention, pettiness that turned into outright bigotry, or straight up greed.
Jack Horner in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is the most realistic villain in decades.
I met true evil while teaching high school behavior disorder students which I define as a complete lack of care or empathy for anyone or anything other than one’s own desires. This particular student had even the most violent of my students terrorized by his complete disregard for them or what he might do to them just for his own self-gratification. Most all of my students went on to become good citizens, but this one finally ended up in a state mental Institution for the safety and welfare of society. The truly sad part is that this young man’s intelligence level was off the charts. A true evil genius if you will.

Anyone know if there’s a way to pick up where I left off after leaving a comic to read another one since the first one is pending new strips?

Oh there is indeed such a thing as ‘evil’. ‘Broken’ is its disguise.

In the oddly entertaining movie “Vice”, Dick Cheney was described as a “Ne’er do Well” in the opening scene.

Everyone I know was traumatized by a clown at some point…

In the movie didn’t Hammy call the bear floating in on balloons a scary clown?
