This is crazy! What is their reason to think Liz’s purse is a WMD??
Fear of the unknown. A woman’s purse is literally no-man’s land, and they’re afraid it might reveal just a little too much information about Liz if they so much as even touch it, much less look inside (it’s kind of like being asked to guard the Lost Ark after you’ve just seen an Indiana Jones marathon!)
After Jon informed Liz about that purse, Liz told him that she still had her own purse with her at this time, that purse Jon and Garfield talked about could BE Jon’s feminine purse or fanny purse,eh! Jon might be becoming a sissy. huh?!
