Is there even such a thing as cats being twins? Bluebell is such a beautiful kitty. Yesterday I drove up to the east entrance of Yosemite, admiring the freshly fallen snow from the early overnight storm. It was a winter wonderland at 8:30, but when I left around noon, the sky was blue and all the snow along the road and in the trees had melted. The peaks were still white, and the incoming storm has been downgraded so I am very grateful I made the 5 hour round trip drive. I took a short hike to Chesney’s favorite lake – Dog Lake – and was very pleasantly surprised to have it to myself at 10 am, but leaving half an hour later I encountered at least 40 other hikers heading up. A dry warming trend is in the forecast, the only good news about this is the fall colors can be ruined by a very cold windy prolonged early storm.
Thank goodness there’s only one Chesney. Two would be double trouble. On another note, saw five nuthatches, three dragonflies, two juncos, a squirrel, and a rabbit while out walking today.
On September 19, 1676, Nathaniel Bacon led an irate group of followers into Jamestown and burned nearly all the buildings to the ground. Bacon’s rebellion and the burning of Jamestown are considered precursors to the American Revolution.
Hungarian lawyer, statesman, and Governor-President Lajos Kossuth was born on September 19, 1802, in Monok, Kingdom of Hungary.
On September 19, 1777, the first Battle of Saratoga was fought at Freeman’s Farm.
On September 19, 1796, the American Daily Advertiser published President George Washington’s Farewell Address for the first time. It’s considered one of the most important documents in United States history.

The mugshot is definitely not for a lost-cat poster. She’d be happy if he never came back.

A rarely heard from cat would be our WOOF.
Are you paying attention, Graham?
An arc featuring Woof would be even better!!!!!!!!!
