As a senior, Iâve seen a few of us let their true inner self slip into plain view. Not pretty when itâs behind the wheel with a horn. Gotta be careful, Lola, âcause that driver might be packinâ heat.
When someone in front of me doesnât move within a few seconds of the light having turned green, I find that a gentle tap of the horn is enough to get them moving.
I totally get it, have been rear ended twice bye two under 18 years old. Both times the parents begged me not to turn it in to my insurance company or the police. I was a fool. They didnât cover any of the damages, pleading poverty.

Everybody knows that the golden rule is âHe who has the gold , makes the rules.â

Lolaâs rules are far from universal.

I always though the golden rule was âdo unto others as you would have them do unto youâ

No, No, NO LOLA. ALWAYS lay on the horn first, before tapping their bumper.

Because thatâs what she would like others to do to her, Right? Golden rule indeed.

Iâd like a bumper sticker that says, âIâve vaccinated for everything except road rage and rabies, have teeth, will bite.â

Do you have a âHowâs My Driving?â bumper sticker, Lola?

Iâll bet her bumper sticker reads âI brake for tailgatersâ.
