I finally found a new doctor after I retired and moved. This guy must get a kickback on all the tests he orders. He also wants me to have a boatload of vaccinations. Some I don’t mind like shingles (I had shingles a few years ago and was painful, especially in the Florida heat). But why would I need hepatitis B vaccine? I don’t sleep around and don’t do drugs. He was obviously unhappy with his nurse who suggested where I might get it free instead of paying over $100 there.

It’s a sad truth. Diabetic, insulin in the US is ridiculous. I spend 250 on just one shot once a week. It’s a very scary situation.
