    To insert real life,the “pointy end” of North Carolina, including Asheville, was devastated by the hurricane.

    I always thought that’s the area where Gasoline Alley was—-Dickie Moores was a Carolina boy

    One town ruined by the storm is Bat Cave,North Carolina

    As a fairly new reader to this classic strip I like how not everyone is drawn symmetrical and smooth. It’s probably harder to draw, but the children as well as adults have little deformities just st like real people do
