Today’s strip reminds me of the Canadian animated series Total Dramarama. In one episode called “A Hole Lot of Trouble”, a character says that a hole in the wall is no big deal as “the school has blown up 98 times”. Nine or ten episodes later in “The Big Bangs Theory”, it was stated that the school had blown up 99 times. We saw four of these explosions in flashbacks – one of them was so large that it was shown from space – before the school was blown up for the one hundredth time at the end of the episode.

Well Fred Mr. Dear just found out one way not to hang a picture ;-)

One of my worst fears! I’ve never put a nail in my walls after all these years! I use those command hooks instead ; )

OOO! Lath and plaster. Great fun trying to fix that, he might have to redo the whole wall.

I’m pretty good at hanging pictures. Never had anything happen like that

We all love a tryer!!!

Well in place of not having the ability to sound a wall for the studs, you can buy a stud finder for a small amount these days (no I don’t mean that kind, get out of the gutter).

I put a fairly heavy 35×23 inch mirror in the hallway and used a 3m Claw picture hanger, the one I picked gave me a 10 lb cushion. If ever I need to take it down those small holes will need very little putty – I’ve used white toothpaste before too, it works just as well.
