Preview trailers generally elect either joy or annoyance. I show up late to avoid them, myself :)

That’s why we watch at home, don’t have to put up with that. Plus popcorn and drinks are cheaper and we can pause the movie for bathroom breaks!

Haven’t been to a movie theater in many, many years. Last time I went, I paid what I considered a pretty exorbitant sum going in but did it because I wanted to see the feature. Spent the early part of the showing watching commercials. I will not pay to see commercials. I get way, way, way more of that for free on TV. If I’ve paid money to see the movie, I consider I’ve fulfilled my obligation. What you offer is completely optional so give me what I’ve paid for.

Ah yes. The previews. Get to see trailers for the crappier movies that they are coming out with while you watch the current crappy movie.

Last movie I went to see was Blue Angels. Could have waited a few days to watch it at home, but I had to see those aerials on a big screen. Before that was Maverick. I think I’ve been to the movies 3, maybe 4, times since 2006. Just not worth it.

“An underachieving voice coach finds herself competing in the movie trailer voice-over profession against her arrogant father and his protégé.” —the short IMDB write-up for the movie In a World. . .

Haven’t been to a theater in 12 years. Price of tickets and drinks don’t make a reasonable night out. Bought a 75 inch tv with surround sound and my comfy recliner, no crowds and I can have a mixed drink. My wife loves movies and theaters, so she goes with our daughter. They went out to see Wicked and I asked what the bill was, it was close to 100.00 for a movie.
