somedays you’re just cat furniture

Mark must have (had) cats of his own (^_^)

Just happened to me last night.

Furniture is right, my cats’ favorite perch was my left shoulder & if I wasn’t sitting down, he would run up my back to get there, perch, turn & look at me & say, “What?”

To a cat, we’re furniture every day!

And that dear Dean is why you should declaw your cat.

Nothing like being jumped on and having one’s stomach kneaded by a 17-pound fuzzmonster. Cats rule.

When your cat needs you, they knead you…Personally, I think having your cat declawed is cruel - how would YOU like having your fingers amputated at the end, hmm? By keeping your pet’s claws trimmed (or capped - there are fake fingernails available for cats now) you can live happily with a clawed kitty! Spaying/neutering is a must, though… Okay, getting off my soapbox now!

So is pet overpopulation, and having to put down unwanted pets for lack of loving homes, and having feral animals roaming around, shortening their own lives, threatening birds and other wildlife, and bedeviling domestic animals. Been there, done that…

meshugunah, well said! I started answering that yesterday but then couldn’t be bothered.

I have a very happy cat - and since she doesn’t know about having kittens I’m pretty sure she doesn’t care.
