I retired (planned) in 2020 after 30+ years of teaching. I have ventured back into a school for some one-on-one tutoring after being away from schools since the ’Vid hit. As nice as my situation is today, I do sometimes wonder how I, and so many others, handle(d) it… day after day… month after month… year after year… Loving your subject(s) and enjoying being around kids certainly helps, but it can be A LOT!!!
Glad I had the opportunity, happy that part of my life is done.

He is SO right. Teachers are heros like firemen and Police ( them…sometimes). They protect 31 children EVERY day.
