I watched reaction videos… once.

I am confused by some of the titles for these videos.“Voice teacher hears for the first time.

I guess I am having trouble coming to grips w/ the fact that the “80s” were now ~40 years ago, but it’s hard for me to believe a person who teaches people to sing has never heard famous singers.

Or “drummer listenes to Neil Peart for the first time”.

really? you’re a drummer, and you’ve never heard Neil Peart ?

seems unlikely.

Next: reaction videos of people watching reaction videos. We live in the age of meta, after all.

Who are we to talk? We’re reading a comic of a guy describing when he watched a video of a kid watching a fiction movie.

Reaction videos can be entertaining. I especially like seeing children react to older things.

I had no response.

I’m not into gore, but I do sometimes enjoy “expanding the horizons” of young people. Usually I’m presenting the sound of vinyl records on full-sized stereo systems (vs compressed computer audio through ear buds) or the music of decades old bands (whom the kids don’t realize their modern music heroes have copied).
