    Now they say that before tossing something out (canned food) when it’s past the best before date to give it a sniff test, I’d be worried about the smell, so I haven’t tried it. Wonder if anyone has tried it.

    I used to work overnights at a convenience store and one time this Karen came in at 12:15am. She suddenly started going off about some food that expired and yelling that I needed to get it off the shelf. I go over thinking it was days or even weeks expired only to find the date was the previous day. It was 15 minutes late coming off the shelf but she was yelling like it magically became poison at midnight

    If what you’re ordering came in a can why are you there Zig? A man, a can, a pan. Can opener and you’re in business. Add salt and pepper. I think I got that from a magazine…
