I recently discovered the benefits of nutmeg essential oil; “Used in aromatherapy, the warming scent of Nutmeg oil is well suited to promote sleep, calm the senses, and induce a sense of relaxation. It can be inhaled at the end of a long, tiring day to alleviate fatigue and revive one’s mood and energy levels.”
This looks nice, but I hope the temperature is bearable and the excessive fumes don’t cause poor Margot to faint. Also, all furniture are in wood… help!
The stuff that scented candles put off when light is absolutely toxic. I know, I am a chemist and have worked producing scented candles with a couple of very big manufacturers of that type of thing in the past. While it is true that when you are burning one or two scented candles the toxicity of the ingredients and the combustion products of the same ingredients are generally not going to reach a concentration level you have to worry about in a well ventilated room or office. Reproducing panel three using anything but unscented pure natural wax candles is going to expose you to high enough levels of volatile carcinogenic and mutagenic that it is actually illegal under EPA and OSHA regulations.
