Dad seems to be run out of money. Not in every family it is possible to get gifts!

One of my favourite C&H sketches. The funniest ones are when his Dad messes with him.

Oh don’t be so hard on Dad. Think of all the torture Calvin puts him and mom through. This was hilarious! It would serve Calvin right if he followed through on it.

The apple didn’t fall far from the tree. I bet Calvin’s dad’s mom told him “I hope you have a son just like you one day!”, the curse always works.

It is (in my opinion) a Fathers God given right and duty to mess with there kids minds a little.

Go get him dad.

Put a lot of coal in Calvin’s Daddy’s stocking! So Daddy can get less jolly every year!

I imagine dad might have had a little operation when he saw how Calvin was turning out.

I think Mom should go along with it. A tree in the garage keeps the house cleaner.

I remember comming back from the grocery store with my sis and her 4 & 5 year-old boys. We started talking about digging worms to make the spagetti. It was hilarious. “It’s not worms! Is it?! Naw, your’re kidding! Aren’t you?!” They just weren’t sure…….

Hey…picking out a tree is a family affair. Dad should have gone along. That way, while they are searching out a tree he can be tormenting Calvin that much longer.

I loved to mess with my kids fertile little minds. Built character. Theirs and mine.

And their mother’s of course.

Calvin messes with Dad alot, too. Remember the snowmen in the yard by the drive, and the phone calls to Dad at work that basicly rubs it in Dad’s face that he has to work and he (Calvin) is playing?

Luckily for Calvin, he’s got Hobbes to turn to. Reminds me somewhat of the movie “Harvey” ..

Boys love to tease. Doesn’t matter if they’re five or forty-five! ;)

i would be afraid to do anything like that with mom around. she seems a little crazy. i would be too if i had to deal with calvin all the time.

This is one of my favorite Calvin strips, this and the one about the car! My husband once made this remark to us, myself and our then 10 and 6 year old sons because HE HATED TO PUT UP THE TREE! It never went in the tree stand right and he would have to fuss and fuss with it! Everytime I see this, I still laugh out loud! So do my sons!

Yep, boys will be boys. 6 or 60 or 86.

Ah Dad, when will you ever learn…Christmas is serious for little 6 year old boys!

I am tired of the “you have selected to view a comic over 30 days old” censored! If I want to see Calvin and Hobbes from the beggining, I have the censored right to. I guess I should just use another comic site that is free!
