We lived in the US for a while, and heard a great fuss about the ball dropping in Times Square. Came New Year’s Eve, we watched the TV closely. There was a glittery ball thing, on a pole! We were poised on the edge of our seats, waiting for the great event. What would happen when it dropped?
Midnight struck. And the ball thing slowly slid down the pole.
Maybe the reason why they have been shuffling around the strips (compared to the 2003-2004 run) was to achieve this perfect timing while keeping the mini-arcs somewhat coherent.
Jason do not worry, Times Square on ball drop rehearsed.Today I celebrate my birthday, received two nice gifts, eating out, sister/husband joining us, then whipped topping icing cup cakes and sugar free ice cream end my day with ABC Rocking Eve. We do not go out evening. Recording CBS.

Just drop it…

I have heard that it is not worth going to, because you can end up with a huge crowd between you and the restroom.

And that was it. Nothing else happened.
This was the big deal?

Ok, this Classic strip is perfectly timed.

How about letting Aaron Judge drop the ball, he has plenty of practice.

If the Times Square ball doesn’t fall at midnight, it means 6 more weeks of the year.

Wonder if Jason’s been watching old clips of Abbott & Costello — sounds like the kind of thing they would have done.
Regardless, clearly Jason’s having a ball.
