Basing your political opinions on TV talk shows is like basing your actions on your daily horoscope. They are both there to entertain, not educate, and if you take either one seriously, you aren’t.
Calvin with you and your mind you would draw a different audience. I agree with Calvin stay in school get an education. Drew C went to library to learn his comedy act. Only Calvin yours won’t be comedy.
Calvin, I have just the book for you. It’s called Learning for Dummies! There’s nothing that isn’t covered, except birthday suits. BTW, what do you call litigation that’s filed on one’s date of birth? I ‘barely’ convinced myself to make that previous statement and question.
Calvin is already famous. Look how many groupies he has and he’s only 6 years old. Going to school now won’t make any difference. We will always love and follow him.
LeslieAnne,
We haven’t heard much from you the past few days. Did you get lost in your bubble bath, or were you hiding-out there? I wrote some puns for you this week and posted them. You usually like them. I’m not looking for applause. I don’t want you to ‘burst your bubble’ clapping your hands.
Puddleglum2… I did get lost… but not in a bubble bath… We have been very very busy at work! That has meant not a lot of time to comment. I have been reading and have THOROUGHLY enjoyed the puns from you and everyone!
I wonder, make a lot of money do not need to have any original ideas ,just repeat the same thing over and over you’ve read some were I do not think its in politics.
Grimma - I agree. A kid this far ahead of the curve is scary. Puddleglum - the “hyper-calvinist” joke was great. Thanks for giving me a much needed chuckle this day….khp<><
LeslieAnne,
Thank you, for us all.
I’m going to The Big E (Eastern States Exposition) tomorrow. I suppose you have not been there. Do you live in the St. Louis area? Calvin is probably fairly close to you, but no one knows exactly where he lives.
‘Fun shared is fun doubled…’ oh well
It is good that you have been very, very busy, isn’t it? “Idle hands breed mischief,” they say. But that would apply to Calvin, not to you.
LeslieAnne,
An uprooted tree crosses Calvin’s stream of thoughts, but he will not brook such a hindrance. It’s his River of Dreams.

I don’t know how you do it, Puddleglum. We read that in church yesterday evening. Not the one I do the Saturday AM bible study with, but another one I go to on Thursday and Saturday evenings. (Yes, I attend two).

Calvin should have said “reality” shows instead of talk shows. That’s been American media for the last 20 years, and the fall of the U.S. Empire.

I think it’s more of a satire on the abundance of child prodigies in the U.S. If a child can peel a potato, it’s a breaking news all over the U.S.
